Distance-based pricing, clearly shown
The ready price list has transport slabs for local, up to 100 km, 100–500 km, 500–1000 km and above 1000 km, plus dedicated 14 ft and 19 ft trucks and shared part-load. Quote the slab, add toll, octroi and parking as a separate line, and the customer sees an honest breakdown.
Declared value and insurance
On a long haul the declared value matters. Record it on the bilty, add the FOV or transit insurance line, and state whether goods travel at owner's risk or carrier's risk — the wording insurers look for.
Delivery window in writing
Put the expected delivery window in the quotation terms. When the goods reach, issue the balance invoice and the final money receipt from the destination city.
